Idea
This music cover artwork was created digitally on Procreate. By using an alcohol ink medium, I wanted to create an abstract piece to illustrate a flowy-dreamy feel to go with the artist’s music. A combination of pastel pink & pastel blue were used to keep it light, while incorporating gold tones to elevate the mood. The flow of colour intensity from light to dark illustrates the idea of movement and change in how one feels through an emotional state of mind.
Process
The client was very open to allow me to explore my creativity in creating an abstract art piece for her. As this was an abstract art piece, check-in points differed from my standard process, but I still made sure to check in with her periodically to ensure we both are on the same page and we both are happy with the end result.
